Mian Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh

Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh is the renowned Industrialist of the Country having Master‘s Degree in Business Admin from OHIO University, U.S.A. He is quite successfully running the Complex of Industrial Units of his Group since 1981. He is also the elected Chairman of the BOD of the Multan Electric Power Co., Ltd., a DISCO of WAPDA, since 2004. He is a Member of the Board of the Privatization Commission of the Government of Pakistan. He is Immediate Former President of FPCCI (Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry) for the last two years 2007 – 2008. He was also Vice President of ICCI (Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry) representing 57 OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) countries. He was elected Vice President of FPCCI & successfully served his Term 2001 & 2002 and received a Gold Medal for his meritorious services to the Business Community from the President of Pakistan in 2002. He was President of the Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Multan in 1988. He is also a Philanthropist and has been on the Board of Hilal-e-Ahmar, Punjab and is a Central Trustee of Fatmid Foundation, Pakistan, an NGO Serving the thalesemia Patients in Pakistan totally free. Mr. Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh has also vastly traveled Abroad in connection with business and his commitments as the President of the FPCCI. He successfully represented the interests of Pakistan Business and Commerce at various National and International forums. He was instrumental in the formation of the Istanbul Forum comprising of the National Apex Chambers of Commerce and Industries of Pakistan, Turkey and Afghanistan.
